(as in "enjoy all you heretics out there"... not you should "enjoy some heretics"... but I guess either works!)

interesting. cypher is listed in the unique characters section. Wasn't one of his options in a previous edition - 3rd or 4th, that Cypher could be accompanied by a squad or so of unmarked Chaos marines to represent a group of Fallen. I could be wrong though. Perhaps in this edition they've made it so he can call on a full army of them?

Fallen have always been effectively chosen CSM. That was what they were in 3rd and 4th.

I'll bet there's more than a few Death Guard Vectorum players that just did bike spam that are not so silently cursing GW right now as Death Guard can no longer take bikes; or a lot of other units for that matter... Come to look at it, my list might be invalid as I don't see the Vindicator on the list of units available to Death Guard armies. Unless I'm reading that wrong and you can take any unit from the book and they just won't count as "death Guard" for the keyword? Without the real thing it's all still a bit confusing. Attachments:

I belive you can take others they just won't get the death guard faction name so won't benefit from any bonuses that death guard give.

ya thats pretty confusing. It clearly says anything with the <Legion> key word can be "Death Guard", so I'm guess that's like everything that isn't demons or marines that come pre-marked like rubic and the likes ...BUT then they give you an approved unit list that says "if its not to the right its not death guard" That seems needlessly confusing unless there are some clarification pages that have not been leaked yet.

Sent from my SM-G903W using proboards OH Jason might be right here. Since the formation that they have given read all units MUST be from the same faction, if you wanted a Vindicator you would need to take an additional formation to get that model. As it is not Faction "death guard"? But that kinda brings up which key word is your faction? Are you Faction Chaos, subfaction "death guard" or are you Chaos, Faction "Death Guard".... Again unclear...
