thinking just posing the scythe wielding arm in a downward sweeping position, leaving off the rock so he's hunched more forward and in "attack mode" would do wonders for the sculpt

I think some paint changes and removing the flys/nurgling would help. It'd eliminate so much of the cartoon-y feeling that's plaguing the box art scheme.

For Typhus i have done a conversation. I took the lord of Contagion and made him into typhus. Let me know what you guys think. I still have to mold the exaust vents on his back.  |

For anyone trying to Kitbash any of the solo elites that may or may not need a bunch of wicked orb looking things on chains… I’ve put together a 3D model of 20x marine scale “Disease Grenades”. The chains have a .1mm diameter stick running up the middle so after they’ve been printed you can snap or cut out the stick so that the grenades will actually sway on the chains. They’re not cheap but they will cost you a hair over a single elite and can be used for… Biologus Putrifier (I ordered some for mine, pics to follow once they’ve arrived) Flail of Corruption (thanks for only including one in each box GW!)
