Entrant:
Blademaster Kelethan (High Elf Prince 250 points)
Background: Blademaster Kelethan is one of the eldest trainers amongst the Swordsmasters in the Tower of Hoeth. Of common birth, he struggled to gain entrance into the hallowed halls of the White Tower, only managing by signing on as a cooks apprentice. After observing life in the tower for several months he made his move, "accidentally" spilling a bowl of stew all over a young noble who was in training with the swordsmasters. The hotheaded princeling quickly challenged him to an honour duel, which Kelethan promptly won, badly embarrassing the student. For his skill and brashness he was awarded a place to train as a swordsmaster, and he quickly gained the skill to be awarded full membership. For 600 years he has fought at the behest of the Loremasters, proving himself in every theater of war, before returning to the tower to train new entrants. He has not seen battle in two hundred years, and so after hearing about the arena he petitioned the Phoenix King to send him as an official representative of Ulthuan, knowing it could be his last chance to either prove himself the greatest fighter in the world, or meet an honourable death in combat. 6 an a half feet tall, with the piercing blue eyes common to elves, his body is willowy and lean, covered in cords of muscle and knots of scars, and grey is shot through his flaxen hair.
Equipment: The White Sword (+2 strength, Killing Blow) (40 pts) Armour of Caledor (2+ armour save) (25 points) Guardian Phoenix (5+ ward save) (25 points) Talisman of Loec (for 1 phase reroll all failed to hit and to wound rolls, foe re-rolls all successful saves of any kind, after which you take 1 wound with no saves of any kind) (10 points) He will ALWAYS use this on the first combat, going for the early knockout.
Total Points cost: 250 pts

Talisman of Loec (for 1 phase reroll all failed to hit and to wound rolls, foe re-rolls all successful saves of any kind, after which you take 1 wound with no saves of any kind) It is all saves or just Armour saves? Army builder just says Armour but i don't play high elves or have the books so i can't say for sure.

Book wording is "must re-roll any successful saves of any kind"

....course then Mr. High Elf takes a wound himself..... very dangerous for both characters!
I like it! (course I play skaven and ogres... if you're not hurting yourself you're not doing something right!)

I'm honestly more scared of the Tyrant....those big buggers have enough wounds that I won't be killing him in one round anyways, and I'm pretty sure very little will stand up to him wacking back.

Yeah but the tyrant only has 5+ armour save and no ward save i can't see him standing long against my guy. but the Tyrant does have stg 8 attacks, and those could hurt. I was going to go for the blade of realities but i decided agesnt it cause most people would have high leadership

and the seigebreaker is WS vs I instead of your WS and causes D6 wounds instead of 1(per hit?)
