Those are all amazing changes, both in terms of game play AND fluff. Only infanty suffer moving and firing heavy weapons now.
This does make the Stabilizing Systems Sept Tenent and the Target Lock system for tau pretty much useless now. More room for other ones!

oh my t-fex's are extremely happy at being able to acid spray into combat!
I'm of course going to have my hopes WAY too high that nidzilla will finally be somewhat viable, only to have GW dash them for me... but the anticipation is fun at least!

So, I was looking at a pdf of Engine War, the AdMech parts. The whole move adn shoot heavy without penalty for vehicles sort of invalidates some AdMech stuff. Didn't they say that Psychic Awakening was written with 9th in mind? If so, I don't see why something that just came out is already invalid.

So, I've been doing some reading online, and as it turns out, there are several examples of Psychic Awakening rules being redundant or useless in 9th.
They can say that the Psychic Awakening event was made with 9th in mind all they want, but the books and rules previews seem to say otherwise. I won't make a list of every rules clash I've found so far, as I don't have every PDF and can't verify them, but yeah....

I think you are referring to the whole Mars thing. Which is currently far and away the best in the book. Dont forget that this will still allow infantry to move and shoot heavy, in addition to the extra point of strength) while the new edition does it just for vehicles.
What was arguably OP in an 8th context is just really nice for 9th (near as we can tell)

One of the small benefits they had over other vehicles was " power of the machine spirit." Which is trash. Don't get me wrong my redeemer is going to enjoy flammaging into the crowd. Burn baby Burn...
