Alongside the pick of those from the current Drukhari codex and Psychic Awakening: Phoenix Rising, the new codex features a whole host of new Stratagems. So, whether you want to dominate the skies with Razorwing Fighters or unleash shambling hordes of Wracks, you’ll find the perfect Stratagem to make them even better. Your enemies will be praying that you don’t take them alive before you know it.
Does this mean they get to keep there old books?

"easier than ever" to mix kabal/cult/coven units....AKA exactly what you could do before the last codex came out

No, it just means all of the bonus content from those other supplements has been rolled into their main book. EXCELLENT news for other armies that had new units, strats, etc, etc.
Thousand Son Cults and custom Chaos Knight Households, I'm looking at you.

"easier than ever" to mix kabal/cult/coven units....AKA exactly what you could do before the last codex came out I think they're meaning that they're going to lift the restrictions that you cannot mix cult/kabal/coven units in the same detachment, or tweaking the realspace raiders. Almost everything I've seen is non-coven though... I'm interested to see how my army is going to be affected! (but if everything gets an extra attack that is going to be pretty great for my full melee list)

I last played DE in 5e when I could just freely pick and choose to take cult/kabal/coven units together When I saw the realspace raiders rule I literally just packed up my army and left it to gather dust because I hated the idea so much lol Extra attacks all around will be pretty sweet

In true GW form though when they let you do something that they used to let you do then nerfed it unnecessarily they announce it as a "buff" lol

I just thought it was funny that they specifcally mentioned getting to use your stratagems from a book that doesnt have any.

Honestly when the chips are down, the big thing is " how is GW going to make T3 infantry playable"
- Warriors getting +1 attack and +1 save is nice but tau have a 4+ and fire warriors are still weak - wyches are a melee focused T3 unit, how do they get to melee is it strength in numbers, stratagems, new rules?
This doesn't just affect dark eldar but is going to be a big sticking point for Tau, Nids (more multiple builds), Eldar, Harlies, Guard. Currently the only T3 faction that is holding its own is Sisters and they are doing it on the back of a 3+ save and really good Order rules like +1 attack +1 AP, or ignore AP -1 (-2)

And harlies are doing really well consistently too, although death guard is a pretty hard counter.

And harlies do it on the back of overly reliable invul saves.
I'll be honest, I'm not exactly getting my hopes up. There's just too much wrong with the core of being the army that folds to a stiff breeze. That is what needs to be addressed, then you can move on to the other things. Reuniting the various factions is a start (Who thought it was a good idea to separate the only tough things in the book on their own).
If they've reworked power from pain from the ground up, then they'll have caught my attention.

Cult of Strife rules will be in the Warzone Charadon book....so I guess its not all crusade/campaign content.
