Definitely seems like a great patrol box. Buying 3 gives you a workable army with no wasted units
Not a big fan of the dice though. Not a colour I would have thought they'd go with. Black with green dots would have been more fitting, especially with the Black Heart symbol

Oh man. That patrol box would look great sitting beside the old start collecting I have on my shelf (raider/warriors/archon).
I certainly hope this codex isn't as disappointing as the last. I definitely can't handle another army right now though. I should probably stop watching these previews.

It passed when I remembered my pile of shame however. Then again, at this point it's less a pile of shame, and more a monument to sloth. Nurgle would be proud of my lack of motivation. |

Yeah, I was making good progress on my stack of grey until about a year ago. Started losing interest in 40k and decided to take the plunge into sigmar. Now I'm split between beasts, slaanesh, daughters, and dark elves.
By the time the tau codex comes along I might be ready to take a look at 40k again. If drukhari turns out to be fun and balanced, my hopes might rise a little. I look forward to the day when tau plays like it belongs in 9th ed.

hmmm and the power from pain chart actually gets better after turn three (the current chart pretty much gets everything good in the first three turns)
Djinn blade seems way better - might actually see the table now!
4+ FNP from the nightmare doll eh? hmmm might be a contender vs. the helm of spite or vexator mask... or you know... all three!

I kinda like the new power from pain. I love the new chart, but now you lose it the instant you have any non drukhari units. That's kinda mean.
I'm thinking I'm leaning towards wyches and covens going the FNP route.
Nice to see the return of the Trueborn, and seems like it's free?
Hopefully they didn't throw all the good stuff at us on the first day of previews.

It appears the trueborn upgrade might be free for the warrior unit....but its still tied to the Master Archon cost. Given how little benefit master archon provides natively, I could see this being the case
