Points hike on the Volkite Contemptors is as expected, chassis went up by 20 points base, and the Volkites themselves went up 30 points per gun! Previous = 150 New = 230 Canoptek Wraiths up 10 per model base Scythed Hierodule went up 40 base Source? Haven't seen this rumor yetIt's spikey bits, and it's terrible to read... But yeah. Volkite Contemptor Spam just got a railroad spike driven through it. |

I've seen those leaks - pretty dodgy if you ask me.
For instance, I could see the Grey Knight Interceptor going up - but 24->33 strikes me as outlandish.

I know it a pipe dream but I am REALLY hoping that they fix the ork buggy issue in the CA. Right now the 1 unit is a trash way of balancing the data sheet. I'd like to see 3 model max so 3x1 would be back in but then raise the cost of the two most problematic buggies by 10-15 pts per model.
In what would be an unpopular opinion, if they insist on keeping the buggies in the massive unwieldy squads of 3, they actually need to come down about 5 ppm, the move blocking and damage roll over is a pretty big nerf to the unit.

Or, add points to them like you say, but have them work like Armigers. Once they're placed on the table in coherency, they then split into their own separate units.

I feel like this is the "correct" option, but vehicle squadrons have been mostly removed from the game as far as I understand in 9th. If there's an example of it in a 9th ed dex I don't recall it. -queue Typhus- |
