Actually I think the psyker is going to be a different unit. Based on the psyker powers and strat leaks from a while back, the Votann psyker seems to be referred to as a 'Grimmyr'. This unit on the other hand is refereed to as a Kâhl which I suspect will be the equivalent of a chapter master/Overlord etc. He is called a General after all. As for his ability to 'cast the Eye of the Ancestors over their foes' I think that's related to the Judgement Tokens mentioned in the leak.

For some reason I really like the latest Votann design because of how different they are from just about any exo-suit/power armor I've seen in 40k before.
Because these suits aren't designed to let the user slug it out in melee combat against all the monstrous horrors that the galaxy can spawn. Instead they're built to allow the wearer to haul around massive guns that you would normally have to mount of armored vehicles.

I agree, it's a mix of the smartgunners from Aliens and the exosuit from Elysium.
Not a huge fan of the robot arm extensions they have, but... work with what you have I suppose.

Though it kinds of makes sense. They'd be able to lift a lot more with remote controlled robotic digits directly connected to the exo-frame instead of powered gauntlets which have to make compromises to fit their fingers inside.

GW dropped a big lore video on the Leagues on Warhammer+
I was actually pretty impressed, not only did it not just vomit out what they already told us in articles, but it actually laid out a pretty detailed description of a well fleshed out society/faction.

And for those that don't have access to Warhammer+ (never saw enough gain for the cost myself) between reddit and spacebattles.com we can get most of it. If you want everything from reddit google 'A Summary of the New Lore from the Leagues of Votann Part 1 Loremasters' Should be the first link popping up.
Confirmation that the Leagues live in the galactic core Ironkin are unique physically, they can't simply swap bodies or replace parts. Repairing them is a careful process, much like healing an organic. Ironkin can 'die' due to their processors wearing out over the centuries. Like an ageing computer. Both kin and Ironkin are recycled back into the mechanisms after death, Ironkin have all their data uploaded to the Votann Kin first names are designated upon creation by the crucible creating them, and never changed as they are seen as a gift from the acnestors. Cogs is a term for less developed artificial intelligences, and are sometimes considered pets.
In addition to their other roles, Votann act as localized beacons for void travel. Votann don't lead the Kin, but do provide predictions which are interpreted by the Grimnir.
Five named factions The Greater Thurian League, the biggest, wealthiest League. Expansionist and believe themselves to epitomize all that it means to be Kin.
The Kronus Hegemony, the youngest League, only a millenium old, and the most militaristic League. They had a "Thane" that became self-aware, becoming a newly awakend Votann with an agressive personality and a lust for resources. Their drive for expansion is so great, they answer almost every problem with a show of force, even against other Leagues (have a black and yellow colour scheme).
Ymir Conglomerate: Value craftsmanship, own many mineral rich worlds and as a result of those factors carry around the most special weaponry. They frequently face outside incursions due to the value of their worlds, and have been trading "all over the galaxy."
Ursa Center Syndicate: Stubborn. Where most kin calculate the profit of a continued endeavor to see whether it's worth fighting, the Urani will not give ground. Yet paradoxically, internally it sees waste as a worse sin and will not spend resources among their armies carelessly. They are under constant pressure of alien invaders, including an incursion of the Necron. No kindred that has joined the Urani has left, which has led to rumors they are protecting something of vast importance.
Trans Hyperion Alliance, nomadic League, even their Votann is always on the move. They value new resources, and worship the Ancestors with more fervour than the other Leagues.

Is Nexus part of that? I know that Mike gave me and a couple of other people a free Intercessor model way back when they were first releasing but can't remember why it was a free give-away.

Either way, it'll be interesting to see what they show off in the NOVA open tournament stream since in the Thunderkyn article; they mention that the 'biggest reveal yet' will be happening on the 31st.

OK between the WC post, reddit,(google 'Summary of today's Votann Batrep') and Auspex Tactics; there's a better idea as to the mechanics for how the Votann play.
Each of the Leagues have two traits and a third one that relates to attacking a unit with judgement token on it. -Tokens can be applied various ways, last throughout the battle and provide a chance to auto-wound targets: 1 makes hits of 6 autowound, 2 makes 5+ and 3 makes 4+. You can only stack up to 3 per unit.
Warriors are 4+ but they have armor of contempt v2 (seems to be faction wide trait). Reduce incoming AP by one (down to 0) and your opponent can't reroll wound or damage rolls against them. The latter isn't that important considering they're 1w but this is on multi-wound models as well. -They were carrying a missile launcher and the hylas auto rifle (remaining 8 had bolters).
-Pioneers seem to be 3W bikes (4+ armor) and it looks like you can take one pintle mounted gun per trio. Hylas is hev9 S6 AP-2 while the autocannons are Hev3, AP-1 and D2 and then they have the bolt shotguns. Looks like these guys can put out a lot of fire as needed.
The faction showed (Thurian League) seems to be all about getting as many Judgement Tokens on units ASAP.
Also one of the Warlord traits turns the guy into a sniper equivalent that ignores light cover and whenever something with tokens dies, you can put a token on a unit visible to him.
