As the resident Harlequin player I am sad to see there's no more luck of the laughing god dice, but now I can finally buddy out the yncarne with my harlies and still have fate dice and he can charge now after he does his jump around shenanigans

Looking VERY happy with orks, there is literally a million army builds that would be cool and pretty solid. Big take away:
- buggies can't go in units any more so any more than 3 of any is a waste. - A lot of units got capped at 1-2 "boxes" worth - boyz 20, storm boyz 10, kommandos 10 etc. - Grots held onto OC 2, so if they are cheap enough they are still a staple - Orks players are gonna need a lot of transports. EVERYTHING except the 20 man blob is better in transport - Orks can splash a LOT of FNP 5+ - Waagh'ing the right turn is going to be critical a bunch of units get pretty big buffs to damage that turn. -Squigosaurs are solo units but are pretty tough, with the right points could be a really cool assassin style model
Overall this is one of the best looking index I have had a chance to read over

Craftworlds seems like they are really leaning into the "Glass Cannon". The units still hit hard, and they have good movement shenanigans, but very low defence. The smaller squadron vehicles all got reduced to units of 1 [so now I have a few things for sale ]. The characters which formerly were the core of the army, are now just providing small buffs to units. Wraiths might be good? Wraithnight, might be a bit crazy out of the gate because of fate dice and "devestating wounds", I think its not unreasonable for one to do 6D6 Mortal wounds, but also only 18 wounds, with maybe no invulnerable save. I'm honestly a little scared it's not going to be fun to play against, based on being non-interactive.

Eldar certainly do have an unsettling amount of profiles with Devastating Wounds. And two of them even have Indirect Fire.
Here's to three more years of elf BS.

And it's confirmed that Leagues of Votann are getting a massive points drop. Tabletop Titans apparently have access to the points and fielded what would have been roughly 2600 points in 9e.
Think I'm going to need some assembly and painting time before I can field a full army of Votann for 10e.

<insert happy abberrant dance here> Some highlights from the GSC data cards: - abberants look great with a natural 4+++ and T6 W3 - abominant rezzes himself on a 2+ when he dies for the first time, joins abberants. - mining weapons got the heirloom weapon treatment, no need to rip apart models to retool from saws to drills ever again. - ridgerunners look freaking awesome. Spotter + Missiles will be the meta favorite for sure by my eye but the other options look great too. - iconward looks like a near auto include - locus bestows fight first to units he joins - Goliaths have support fire to give rerolls to wound to the unit that just disembarked.

From my craftworld's look over
- Aspect warriors must take an exarch now
- Phoenix Lords may only join their aspect
- Spiritseer joins wraiths and straight up rezzes a dude every command phase. If points are decent he's going to be an auto take if you run wraiths.
- War Walkers look devastating, -1 to wound and 4++ with and T7 W6, through have to fly solo now so they aren't spamable
- twin starcannon on the wave serpent looks amazing... 4 shots at strength 8. I'm thinking it might have supposed to have been two shots because everything else got it's shots halved but the starcannon didn't.
- lots of devastating wounds sprinkled everywhere, we'll definitely be able to hit where it hurts with fate dice to bypass invuls in key places.

Looking to confirm before the points drop that so far for army building there are only 3 rules:
1- MUST HAVE ONE "LEADER" keyword unit 2 - JUST HAVE 3 "BATTLELINE" keyword units 3 - NO MORE THAN 3 of any data sheet , or 6 of a battleline keyworded unit
After that its build to your hearts content, unless you have a rare restriction like Farsight can't be in a list with ethereal.

No...must have 1 character (not all characters are leaders) 2. Not a requirement 3. Correct 4. No more than 1 of each epic hero

Cool I thought there was a battleline requirement as well but I guess i'm thinking back to old formation rules. So you Can have a totally legal army that is a single character model.
