Shannon can you confirm when its 25th because my cousin from Quebec want to come and he needs to book his weekend It's the weekend of February 25th-26th Going to be set in stone at nexus tonight... signup will go up tomorrow once that is set.... I need to confirm with Mike what the maximum number of attendees is.. that will determine how many are permitted to sign up....

It won't be more than $40, that's for sure...
this isn't a money-maker, it just has to break even.... I'm going to try and price it out for $30, but it may have to be $40 depending on what kind of deal I can get on the t-shirts and trophies... because whatever's left over goes to prizes too!

one question about the draw for prizes, not sure if you thought of this already or just weren't going to do it, should you make it that you can only win one prize? to give everyone a chance to win something or if you name or what ever is drawn for more then one prize you win them all

if there's ten prizes and you put one ticket in each, technically you can win them all.
so no, there is no restriction at all on winning more than one prize...

Well Astro has a similar system, but they also sell additional tickets at the event, so people literally flood the draw of something they really want...
I figured I'd keep the system fair for everyone, so everybody has the same number of tickets.... Also this way Mike isn't going to have a bunch of people asking to trade in their prizes at the end of the tourney... you get to actually have a chance at the prize you REALLY want.....

If you find that there isn't enough money for t-shirts, trophies and sufficient prizes I would be fine with T-shirt money going into prizes instead.

no worries... been all figured out with tshirts, prizes, and trophies....
the only concern would be if people say they're coming, sign up to a spot... then don't show up... so if you sign up, we certainly hope that you come... because I went and made a tshirt for you!

From the Lost Forums (Trenton) where I posted our tourney: Algoroth: "Two-prong question...Anyone here up for going for the weekend, and anyone up there willing to billet a couple of crazy gamers overnight Saturday?" Anyone willing and able to host a couple of out of town guests? reply here: thelostforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=564.0
