you're running two tervigons without having termagants to spawn? isn't that kind of defeating the purpose?

Harry, I have 15 extra termagants that I am not using which you can borrow if you want.
I also have 14 spinegaunts and 6 hormagaunts converted to spinegaunts (yes I regretted doing it). Nobody uses spinegaunts for obvious reasons but I don't know if they can be substituted for termagants for this tournament. You'll have to ask Mike and Shannon about that.

thanks mark that way..... I still have some to go.. I can always stop by the nexus on wednesday.... and pick up a couple... if anybody else has any extra.... if I may borrow them, I'd appreciate it I mean.. it is SORT OF defeating it... but really, I use them for FNP

I have 15 extra termagants I'm not using plus 20 spinegaunts (so 35 gaunts). You need to check with Mike/Shannon on whether spinegaunts can be used as termagants (since nobody uses spinegaunts although they are still a legal choice). I think you made a comment about Macragge gaunts earlier or another thread - the Macragge gaunts were modeled as termagants as I remember so that is what you want - no problem. Just check with Mike/Shannon to see its okay to use the spinegaunts - if so you'll have 35 gaunts for your second tervigon that I can lend you.

I'm sure it won't be a problem... the majority of people aren't familiar with the differences between them anyways.... like when was the last time anyone even saw a spine gaunt!

final build for december HQ tyrant with TL devourer, hive commander, and armored shell
troop 25 hormies with toxin and adrenal(outflank?) 2X10 termagants tervigon with scything talons, adranal, toxin, catalyst tervigon with scything talons, adranal, toxin, catalyst 3 deathspitter warriors
elite 2X2 hive guards 10 ymgarls
heavy trygon with adrenal, regen trygon with adrenal, regen (deep strike?)

Drop adrenal for poison on the trygons and it looks fine. I'd personally drop the warriors for tyrant guard, but if you don't have the models it makes sense.

poison on the trygons? dont trygons wound on 2+ anyways? dosent that lose the point of the poison? wait.. shannon wrote the library on 5th ed.... did anything change regarding poison?

yes, you'll wound on 2's with a reroll to wound...
so trygons with poison reroll to hit and reroll to wound... pretty awesome....
