From Faeit:
"Blood Angels are a ways off yet, currently on our schedule towards the end of the year or January of next year. Space Wolves are obviously next, and rumors point to Dark Eldar following with Blood Angels in the far distance. Regardless there are some rumors floating around this morning.
Please remember that these are rumors and in this case need a little extra salt with them.
via Bell of Lost Souls Larry Vela Rules: Mephiston: Lord of War. Blood Angels: Gain access to the new Codex SM flyers, but not the tanks.
Minis: New "Sanguinary" unit in Terminator armor Clam pack plastic Sanguinary Priest New Wheeled vehicle "Classic Character" gets a resculpt (contrary chatter split between Mephiston/Tycho)
Rumor reliability: Medium-Low, coming from both known and unknown sources "

that's the mystery... thoughts are that they use templates based on what they're working on... ie: same thing happened with space wolves/ grey knights which followed one another

Considering this is the SECOND time this has happened (As Shannon said, the first was Space Wolves / Grey Knights) I'm lead to believe it's intentionally happening on GW's part and is a way to hype the next release somewhat.

here we go... not long to wait now "The latest rumors have suggested that Necrons might be seeing a model wave, but that Blood Angels will be the next 40k codex release. The timing of this we are not yet sure of, but when we start seeing info like this, it highly suggests that it will not be too far out. Please remember that these are rumors. via Steve the Warboss on Faeit 212 I got some Informations: -New Character, a Captain (maybe 1.Company) -Mephiston in plastic -New Terminator Box with all weapon options -New Assault Marine Box -New generic Dreadnought -Honour Guard Box (maybe only an repack) -Mephiston will be a LoW, he turned into a "uber" psyker -BA Painting Guide -Suppliment featuring the new captain -The Flesh Tearers are now watched by the Inquisition -A Rumor make the round in the Imperium, one of the BA successor chapters are traitors (not the Flesh Tearers) -The attitude of Imperial authorities over the BA worsen

Hot from BoLS
"A new set of Blood Angel character info is doing the rounds. Let's see what the space vampires have in store:
More Blood Angels rumors 10-9-2014
Mephiston -Mephiston is getting a new plastic.
Huge, standing almost as tall as a terminator. Sword low across front in right arm. Left extented over the top with hand spread...individual fingers. Looks like he's lunging forward sweeping the blade in an uppercut. Cape blown about behind him. Model has skull and blood drop iconography all over. Aegis extends up like the cowl of the old figure but is much more recognisable as a psychic hood. Face is incredibly detailed. Fangs are visible.
Captain Tycho -Tycho plastic is death company version. -Has a chainsword and signature combimelta. -DC iconography, retains nipple armor.
Corbulo -Corbulo plastic is in sanguinary armor. -Has chalice held aloft with both arms as in offering.
Terminators Set -New Blood Angel Terminator box set. -Makes terminators, BA captain in TA, BA Librarian in TA, or new BA terminator armored heavy unit. -Storm Bolters are in hand not arm-mounted like gk. -Includes power axes, fists, sbs, force sword, power sword, new 2 handed heavy cannon, heavy flamer, Assault cannon, librarian torso/tabard/shoulders/weapon, banner, captain options (combi weapons) tons of bits.
Reliability is: medium-low, coming from a mix of known and unknown sources With the rumors swirling around, these offer yet another set of datapoints and you can see a pattern forming. There are continual and matching rumors regarding both Mephiston and a new Terminator kit out there. This set of rumors is the first instance of mention of Tycho and Corbulo.
Still, GW will need to find a way to deal with the Sanguinary Priests/Corbulo and I can't see him being cut as he has had a decent quality miniature for some time. Tycho would be a surprise, but on the other hand, I could easily see him being the star of the company-based Blood Angels supplemental codex."

from Faeit:
"I have been hearing that Blood Angels next for a codex release. While we might see a Necron model or two, this rumor bit declares that we will see a codex release mid November with very little in regards to a model release.
Please remember that these are rumors from a source that has been around for a long time.
via an anonymous source on Faeit 212 BA are indeed pegged for a mid-november release but there will be little or even no model releases at all.
If there is anything released expect either plastic reclusiarch or sang priest. But no new squad kits or vehicles. "

Honestly a points reduction for assault marines, making all priests two wounds (with no points change), giving us back our psychic discipline, and adding Storm talons would go a long way towards fixing up the current issues I have with the codex. Here's to hoping.

I just don't want my army invalidated... or have to run "unbound" to run it...
so if they change it so Dante no longer unlocks Sang. guard (which I'm unfortunately expecting) then I just hope they're not limited to squads of five only. At least then I can buy some troops and still run my army.
If none of that happens, I still hold out hope for a formation to allow it, even if I have to give up objective secured.
I mean not that my BA list is very competitive or anything... but it's themed, and I want to keep the theme!

From Faeit:
"It seems that on the mobile version of the Games Workshop site, a little slip up may have occurred showing off part of a the new Blood Angels codex. Of course it was only there momentarily, but and I wish I had been sent a screenshot this time around, but this is all we have is a description.
Check out what happened.
Please take this as a rumor for now.
via a wants to remain anonymous reader I just wanted to tell you something I saw happen to the mobile GW site. It glitched out at exactly 7:13pm today and showed a blood angels codex w/sold out written all over it. The cover was partially covered but it looked like a sanguinary guard member surrounded by fire. "

So either they're using 7:13 to mean a bible verse, as in Matthew 7:13 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it."
OR the Angel number 713 "The repeating Angel Number 713 is a message that you are to surrender and release any fears or doubts you may have to the angels and have faith and trust that all is going to Divine right order."
Not sure exactly what quirky little thing they're trying to do with it, but they intentionally flashed it at 7:13 for a reason, I'll continue my google fu.

from Lords of War gaming through Faeit: " via Lords of War Gaming on Facebook www.facebook.com/LordsofwargamingI keep getting questions about a Tyranids Codex release and here's some info. 1. This is a model release no Tyranids codex. 2. A Campaign book will be released and if I remember correctly it's called Leviathan. 3. Blood Angels are still coming. 4. There will be a starter set that contains BA and Tyranids. It will be similar to Storm Claw. 5. Hope to update Blood Angel rumors this week."

Seems like this rumor is gaining momentum!

Blood Angels 5 death company 10 assault marines 1 furiouso dreadnaught 1 New Exclusive captain w jump pack

Compare today’s above rumor to this set of rumors that came out 10 months ago and were off the mark – but everyone figured they were confused reporting of the later StormClaw set:

the campaign has a name! "The Blood Angels campaign will be called "Shield of Baal: Leviathan" according to bits out of the latest White Dwarf. All we know now for certain is the name, and that it will be exclusively in English. via KaldorSwarmlord Can also be seen here dedard.blogspot.com/2014/11/blood-angels-boxed-set-gets-name.html I don't know if any other german WD readers noticed: on page 20 of the current WD, where they talk about the various ways to benefit from the Toxicrene, some note is written in the bottom left corner (I'll translate): "Shield of Baal: Leviathan ist ausschließlic in englischer Sprache erhältlich, aber damit du sofort mit dem Spielen loslegen kannst, haben wir hier die Regeln auf Deutsch abgedruckt." "Shield of Baal: Leviathan is exclusively available in English, but for the purpose of playing immediatly we printed the rules in German here for you.""
