Let's see if there's anything interesting for my army.... My my, Wraiths just got a shot in the arm in terms of survivability (wouldn't use it on scarabs of course). Would want a cryptek nearby assuming they can benefit from his buff. Would have to see the complete wording for this. Because from the way it's written here, you could haul entire monoliths or other vehicles around the map with this relic. I'm guessing there are a few more limitations other then one unit in 3'.

sounds like bearer plus a unit... you could totally move a monolith as your one unit if you wanted after all other movement is done (end of movement phase). Seems like there's some good uses for this, but given it's one use per battle it doesn't seem broken or anything.
the canoptek strategem on wraiths with a nearby cryptek seems fantastic for that one big charge that you know is going to be crucial.

They're cool as hell, but just comically expensive.

Seems like there's some good uses for this, but given it's one use per battle it doesn't seem broken or anything. Not just moving closer to the enemy. Because there don't seem to be any limitations about the state of the bearer and the unit before the teleportation. So say your relic bearer and a big block of warriors are in a melee because your opponent managed to get off that annoying turn 1 charge. You can remove them from that fight and then set them up in safety within rapid fire range to unload on the enemy. After all it's written as 'remove and set up' so it shouldn't be counted as falling back.

According to the Blood of Kittens leak compilation, the inceptors are down to 25 (from 30), assault bolters down to 10 each (from 15 each) and Plasma Exterminators down to 17 each (from 28 each). So 3 man bolter team is now 135 instead of 180 (25% reduction) and a 3 man plasma is 177 instead of 258 (31% reduction)

This wouldn't count as falling back as it's remove and set up

Depending on how many models/units the Monolith can transport, you could use this as a massive re-deployment trick. Re-deploy the monolith then unload the units contained within it; unless I’m mistaken on how many “units” a loaded transport counts as on the table.

www.warhammer-community.com/2017/11/22/get-ready-for-chapter-approved-matched-play-updates-nov-22gw-homepage-post-3/Matched play updates. Whelp, I'm not to big of a man to admit when I was wrong. Looks like they ARE adjusting FW prices in a GW prime book. I, for one, think this is a good move. It indicates that maybe one day we'll be able to get all the rules for the models available in one place. Big standouts are the Triumverate of the Emperium getting a price hike, Malific lords up to 80(!) points, and a clarification on when the Command Re-Roll stratagem can and can not be used.

.... believe I warned people not to buy into the malefic lord trap...lol.... 80 points is nearly TRIPLE their previous points... GW is watching and listening to feedback... broken combos that break the game are getting stopped in short order, unlike some of the plagues from previous editions.
While they don't specifically name them, I'm guessing Malanthropes will get a point hike, as there's currently no competition between them and venomthropes, and I'm assuming given the nid book is so new anything in it is pointed as per chapter approved.

If the Sicaran Venerator is 100 points less, then I'm hoping that the other variants get similar (proportional) discounts, so that the 2 I have don't just collect dust for all eternity.

I was cautiously optimistic at that news as well. The Sicaran got the Riptide treatment. It was too good before so it got blown way out of it's point range.
I am however glad that they're paying close attention to things and actively balancing things.

That said I'm really enjoying my list that have right now for tau.

Hmm a Venator was next on my "buy this because it's cool" list - now it might actually be playable!
I'm imagining my Scorpius is gonna cost a bit more as it stands - thing is damn brutal.
