Wonder how they'll play with the Daemon rules in the CSM book? Hard to say they overwrite something in a printed Dex, but otherwise it's way too easy to just say "Okay, I take a Sorcerer and 4 units of the 4++ CSM Brims and the rest of my army from Daemons" FAQ's already in place say when a newer dataslate is published you have to use the newer one. (which is why the daemons got the discounted troop units too)
The invul save of the brims isn't wargear, so someone trying that trick would be simply out of luck, as the newest iteration of the rules is the 6+ brims and they'd have to use that.

I'll be glad that I only have pink horrors. Looks good.
The only thing is the changling loosing the -1 bubble. With nids having -1 bubbles they can take more then one of and other armies having -1 when further then 12 inches or units with a straight up -1 was a single special character with it that op?

One little hint I noticed is it says flickering flame can be used on even lesser horrors.
Does that mean blue and brimstone will get a shooting attack since flickering flame only works on shooting.

can't imagine a brim's shooting is going to be very good though!

sooooooo excited for this codex!
Wondering if the banner strategem on a big beefy unit of plague drones would be worth it... 3 damage a piece with virtulence? Probably a sea of plague bearers would be actually better overall, especially supported by a killy character (prince?) with the horn that grows the plague bearers on a 4+

hmmmm.... not sure...
Phantasmagoria actually sounds pretty "meh"... the advance and charge is fantastic of course... but unless they've done something to seriously boost the survivability of a keeper of secrets, there's no reason not to just run a prince, which is just as killy and WAY more survivable (especially with character protection). The previewed warlord trait/artefact just makes that divide even wider, as both are going to see MUCH more use on a prince.

Based on what we've seen. Khorne and Slaanesh as the weaker of the Gods by a fairly wide margin. Slaanesh will be a Smash or sink army. Hit the lines and win the game by turn 2, or hit the lines and bounce and lose by turn 2. Any army with any kind of staying power (Invuls, FNP, numbers, etc) will survive the initial assault then mop up since the entire army is about as tough as a paper airplane.

That's almost 20 less daemonettes than before Chapter Approved. I feel like the list has to be minimum 60 daemonettes, Zara, 3 Daemon Princes and as many Heralds on Exalted Chariots as you can fit. In that list you can either target Zara or Daemonettes.
