Mostly confined to point modifications but three big things for me:
Supposed to drop around the 15th of December. Named characters getting cheaper. +60/70 points to Necron superheavy (likely the T.Vault).
Seriously GW? If you tack that much of an increase on the T.Vault you better either give a buff to it or buff/point decrease elsewhere in the army. We're having enough trouble as it is in 8th.

How important is the chapter approved book? Is it something I should look into picking up?

How important is the chapter approved book? Is it something I should look into picking up? CA is like a FAQ, but has rules adjustments and point cost changes for everyone. My understanding is you don't need to buy it unless you want the extra stuff included within it like scenarios, fluff, and casual play rules (like last year I believe they featured a "make your own land raider" set of rules) |

I find the battlescribe community is pretty on point for point adjustments tho so dont feel compelled to buy it imo

Same here, I'd love to have a raider as the center piece of my wolves force. I just can't seem to justify it over a Stormwolf or Stormfang at current points.

It only like a 40 pt drop. for a standard land raider, 44pt drop for a crusader and a 64 point drop for as redeemer,
I guess it adds up over time.

Shows how little I know about SM forces and point costs.  I guess the big question is: even if the LR is cheaper is it worth taking over more bodies/a Stormraven.

Other rumours have put the double lascannon going down 10pts, so that would be a 60pt drop for the Godhammer pattern.

Well I like seeing this. Maybe other races will start to see a price drop as well, Ie. Necron Monolith. That would be nice.
