Knights weren't buffed persay; they just had their weapon costs adjusted to be in-line with the rest of the Imperium weaponry that shares a name. No reason to charge a knight 2 more points for a heavy stubber than an Astra Militarum heavy stubber, or meltagun, etc. etc. |

yeah... not getting the grief about that...
knights having a heavy stubber adjusted to the same as everyone else isn't really a buff... a bloodthirster dropping a HUNDRED points is a buff - a pretty darn significant one at that!
(pricing out buying half dozen more bloodthirsters and wondering if my marriage is strong enough to support that)

Let's see here, what did my legions of the dead get for Christmas? No signs of formations but here's hoping we get something.
Wraiths dropped seven.........Squeeee. DM's down 2. Huh, they're now equal in price to the Immortals+weapons. Wait scratch that, the blasters and carbines are cheaper so still cheaper to take Immortals.
The D.Ark is down 33? Damn, that opens up a lot of points/potential. Lord going down 8 I didn't expect. I don't know what other faction's 'reroll wounds of one' characters cost but 73 didn't feel that bad.
Warriors down a point, saving 20 when taking max size blobs is something I'm A-OK with.
...Sorry GW, even with the points drop/increase I'm still taking the T.Vault instead of the Obelisk. Now if you changed that gravity pulse to effect all enemy units instead of just Keyword: Fly it would be a different story.
Stalker getting a 32 decrease along with -14 for the twin heavy gauss actually gives me incentive to try squeezing one back into my lists.
Oh now this is fun. Heavy destroyers are now equal in price to regular ones due to the Heavy gauss price change. That means you can freely stuff a Heavy into into your destroyer squads. Guess GW wants more people buying the conversion kits (looks at my piles of Immortal/Deathmark guns lying around) Sorry, it's kitbashing the HDs for me.
If my math is right with the warscythe and D.shield changes, Lychguard are now 28 per model whether you take the scythe or sword and board. 280 points for a ten man melee-only elite unit doesn't feel that bad.
Sentry plyons....Does anyone actually use the things? Because from the quick glance of the stats, I can't see why I wouldn't take a D.Ark instead.

not sure if anyone has posted anything similar BUT: Winters SEO posted a video and in it he wrote in new points beside the units in the current space marines codex and there are a lot of changes taht im sure will correlate with other space marine armies. I've linked the video at the time it's shown. lots of point decreases in things like dreads and terminators as well as some other choices! looks promising for marine players (and hopefully my blood angels) youtu.be/i4qY8iokLh0?t=101 |

Pfft, my 1500 point Santa Daemon list is just over 1200. Some models still not viable, but its so much better.

Tyranids... Oh my... If you play multiple Tfexes and Broodlords you are going to be one happy camper. My one-day-wish-list for Nids dropped over 200 points...
almost every tyranid list I run is now working with 100-200 more points to play with

Yep, even with the increase to the T.Vault the point changes will be freeing up just over 100 points.
