Call me cautiously optimistic...

Well I can see most of the Tsons being true other then the soulreaper thing. I want that to be true though. But running 2 5 man squads of rubrics in a rhino with flamers might be viable with the point changes.

A squad of sisters with 4 storm bolters, 16 shots at ap-2 D2, good way to take out primaris marines.
Not sure how many dice you roll for their acts of faith, but if its a single die then it might be a bit harder to get them off. Would be nice if you can use as many from your pool as you like to make sure it goes off.

I'm really liking the new acts of faith... thinking with the scaling up per models combined with the order that gets +1 to the tests, you can really build towards that... throw in a warlord with a 9" bubble of 5++ invul and you've got something pretty cool and a different way to play the force other than "melta and flamer stuff"

wow... ummm... I don't know what to say there GW...
thanks?
every one of my armies benefits from this... like every one to at least some degree... guess that commitment to overcosted units I thought were cool for my Tyranids, Daemons and BA really paid off. I guess I need to buy more...lol... MUCH more (100 points per thirster is HUGE... 50 points a tfex, broodlord AND off the swarmlord also HUGE for my lists)

Also, thanks GW for making MORE Death Guard units cheaper. AND… 25 points per spawn down from 33? Yes please!!! They were great already, now it’s a must-have of two full units, heck, maybe even a 3rd. Knight wargear going down is nice, but I’m wondering about the cost of the bodies… Didn’t look like there’s any adjustments there, but these are leaks; they could be in a different spot somehow.
Thousand Sons units got not a bunch cheaper, but a little which is nice. Helbrutes went WAY down, 12 points base is a big swing not to mention armament costs. As armed; my Helbrutes from my champs list would be down a whopping 27 points from where they were prior.

Weeeeeeeeeee. Necrons make me happy. 320 for a monolith. Vault went up, but it should have. Rest though seems to be the same of everyone else. Points went down

This feels like a real slap in the face.
Shield Captains on Dawneagle Jetbikes untouched? IG Infantry Squads untouched? DE Disintegrators untouched? Knights BUFFED?
Big yikes for anyone not playing DE Soup or Imperium Soup.

as a chaos, nid and necron player I made out HUGE with these point adjustments. I dont' play DE or imperium soup and I'm extremely happy with everything I've seen. I was NOT expecting this many positive changes.
I can only assume (and hope beyond hope) that GSC wasn't adjusted because the new book is inbound.
11 point cultist bodies I certainly hope won't remain...lol
