One thing I’ve noticed that was sneaked in is the Monlith’s gauss flux arch. It used to be 24” heavy 3. Now it’s 30” rapid fire 3. The particle whip got 12” range increase to 36”, but decrease number of shots to D6 vice 6, but added Blast and flat 3 damage vice D3 that it was.

Actually the Gauss Flux Arc is listed as rapid fire 3 on the community page. Also Sautekh just edges out Mephrit in terms of rapid fire range for the weapons. The set 18" versus 16.5" from the 3" range increase. Though a Death-ray Monolith would be better with Mephrit.

Found a youtube vid discussing a leak of the Command Protocols along with the ones already shown on the community website. Can't find the leak itself but Auspex Tactics has generally been good about these things. Dynasty that gets both options is in brackets.
Eternal Guardian (Nihilakh)
- If didn't move, fall back or advance in this BR, gain light cover
- can hold steady or set to defend as if in heavy cover
Sudden Storm (Nephrekh)
- +1" movement
- can do actions and still shoot
Hungry Void (Novokh)
- Melee wound of 6 ->increase AP by 1
- +1S if charged, was charged or made heroic int
Undying Legions (Szarekhan)
-Living metal gains 2 wounds instead of 1
-re-roll one die each time the unit makes reanimation protocols
Conquering Tyrant (Sautekh)
- +3" auras and Rites of reanimation, Lord's Will and MWbD
- Fall back and shoot with -1 to hit.

Hmm, considering that there are four types of Crypteks shown so far (Technomancer, Psychomancer ,Plasmancer ,Chronomancer) I'm betting that that list of 12 Arkana items will be 3 options for each type.
The Phaeron strat however; paying 2 CP to save ~90 points and an HQ slot since I don't need to take a second Overlord (or forced to go Sautekh for the Stormlord)? Yes please.
The damping ability is useful against those super-buffed psyker powers that a deny simply can't stop.

-Aggressors lost both their double shooting ability and being able to advance and shoot at no penalty.
-Eradicators now can only use their double shoot ability if they didn't Advance, and can be taken in up to squads of six.
-Both are CORE units. -Monolith is apparently now a Lord of War
-Outriders come in squads of three. -According to translators (Necron leaks are in French) all C'Tan are now 350 points and have a 2 CP stratagem that lets them ignore invul saves in melee.
-Doomstalker has 4+ invul and some big special rule that has something to do with enemy models attacking a Dynasty unit.
-Quantum shielding has been completely overhauled. Now it gives a 5+ invul and you can't damage the model on a unmodified wound roll of 1 to 3. So sort of like transhuman physiology only on a vehicle.
-Repair barge now activates in the command phase where you bring back d3 dead warriors in a unit that is within 6" of the barge.

More leaks. Chapter master is the 40pts previously revealed, but it now only gives full rerolls to 1 unit within 6", not all. Can also choose a warlord trait that recovers cp on a 4+, and a relic that gives 2+ Armour and +1 T & W.
I think we're really starting to see the leveling out of the playing field for marines. Chapter master reroll bubbles were A huge part of the marine problem, making rolling to hit a triviality for marine castles.
This new codex is looking more and more like it will be bringing them in line with some other armies. The real test of course will be how it compares to the first couple 9th codexes released.

Howling Banshee's officially S4 due to Power Sword buff
D-Scythes however did NOT get the range bump. Only Flamers and the Dragon's Breathe Flamer.

Get my hands on the Void Dragon today and while he's on the same size base as the Doomstalker, some of his pieces are going to be pretty fiddly (though not as bad as the Transcendent C'Tan). Though I think I'm going to take a page from the last of the showcased painters on the community site and have him standing on some rubble/the ground with energy arcing around/into him. Might be less fancy than being suspended by beams of energy but far less breakage potential.

Whelp it's confirmed, we are not getting new destroyer models anytime soon. Somebody got a look at the 'new' destroyer sprue, and they've simply replaced the four green plastic rods with generic equivalents attached to the main sprue.
So the only way to make lokhust destroyers that look like the Heavy version is to buy and convert.

oh man, that's not great... the new heavy d's are great models.. was hoping the standard destroyers were going to get the same updated look.

Hey question about the 'Hand of the Phaeron' stratagem. The wording is that I pay 2 CP and select one "Necrons Overlord model' from my army (excluding named characters)and that model becomes a Phaeron (MWbD can be used twice).
Can this be used on the Catacomb Command Barge? I mean yes, it has the MWbD and the Overlord keyword but it is not an 'Overlord model'. It would stand to reason that it could be but I've been caught by weird wording interactions etc before.
