Questions: 1. How many scarabs are max unit? 2. How many Spyders are max unit? 3 how many points for each individual? Scarabs are 15 pts per model, 3-9 in a unit (fast attack slot) 135 for max unit.
Spyders are 60 pts per model, 1-3 in a unit (Elite slot) 10 pts for 2 particle beamers (totaling 12 shots 18' S5 D1), 5 pts for the fab claw array and 5 for the gloom prism. So 80 for a fully kitted out sypder and 240 for a full squad of kitted out sypders.
Fortunately they're now six wounds, living metal and their scarab ability auto-regens one model in every unit within 6'. No more mortal wound shenanigans.

Does the hammer fall bunker for space marines deep strike? I keep hearing GW say things about putting in your opponents deployment zone. But the data sheet I saw (don’t know if it was true) did not mention deepstriking.

here's the weird part... in the codex it says in the flavour text"
Hammerfall bunkers are launched from the space marines warships in the same manner as drop pods.... and wrecking havoc behind the foe's lines"
yet no where in the datasheet does it say that it can deep strike. Like at all.
It doesn't have the death from above or teleport strike keywords, nor does it have the drop pod assault rule that the drop pod has.
I seriously thought that was what this thing did, deep strike on the board... but it has the building keyword but none of the others that would let it...
...wait... maybe there's a strat....
nope... not there either
looks like it doesn't deep strike.

So probably waiting for the FAQ after the following takes place at GW:
"Just saw the reviews. Didn't you put Deepstrike on that data sheet?" "No. I thought you did it." "Oh crap on a cracker ..."

I am perfectly fine with that box of bang-bang being limited to my opponent's deployment zone....where I can safely shoot it to death with longer-ranged anti-tank guns.

While the Dark Angels Index needs a little cleaning up, Inner Circle on Deathwing Terminators is great. Three wound Terminators with baked-in Transhumance Physiology is quite cool, and you can add a FNP with character/ relic support.

Iron hands really only lost a couple strats so they faired pretty good. No trasnhuman terminators good but pretty good.

so while assembling models on my day off have been watching videos re: the new necron codex... weird how different people are giving such different reviews of things such as what units are good/bad... how reanimation protocols are good or bad, protocols etc. etc.
I think it's probably a good thing that the codex isn't so cut and dry, but some differing information for certain

I love how Res Orbs work. It makes the new RP feel solid.

The fact that no one can agree on gauss reapers vs flayers on Warriors alone says GW and the playtesters did an excellent job and I only hope the rest of the codexes are as well done
