I'm really glad they updated the post with all the details. I had to leave the live stream about half way through and missed the space marine reveals.

Reaction time:
Necrons obviously getting tooled up to be the big bad guys this edition. It sounded from the stream the codex had nearly a ground up rewrite and several units got major transformations. I'm not overly familiar with Necrons but it all sounds good.
Marines I'm honestly a bit underwhelmed by the content. A new landspeeder, heavy intercessors and confirmation that the indomitus units well get their own kits and have their rules synced to fit into the more specialized chapters. Maybe I'm just spoiled cus I've been keeping up with all the leaks and spoilers the past few weeks but I'm not terribly impressed.
Wolves, Deathwatch and Blood Angels getting their supplements immediately is very nice especially since some of those armies have traditionally had to wait a long time to get their updates. That really impressed me.
Codex Death Guard being the first chaos book updated makes me smile. I suspect the combination of the 2W buff will make this already popular army into a very common tabletop sight. Typhus might need to join my model collection sooner than I thought.
Forgeworld Compendium is also a huge smile. For years having the right forgeworld book for your model was such a pain. While I'm not the biggest fan of forgeworld units it at least lowers the barrier of entry to using forgeworld to a point where more people might be willing to get into the centerpiece resin kits and we'll probably see more forgeworld on the table top as a result.

....our tables have been flooded with forgeworld for a couple of years now due to their bonkers rules that are way better than the codex equivalents (see forgeworld contemptors vs. codex dreads), and for a good long while leviathans dominating tables.

Oh yeah I mean fair point. But with a single book for all forgeworld there's at least a chance that they'll balance and fix the rules more than once a millennium.

I truly hope so... or at least have them equivalent in balance to the codex options so it's not a "I'll take the FW variant obviously!".. more of a choice that you make based on tactics rather than cherry picking the best options.
They're doing a whole death korps of krieg armylist in there too apparently... could be cool...hmmmmmm (looks at piles of armies I have to move) maybe not

Something interesting I noted about the two new crypteks shown off. Comparing base sizes to the flayed ones (who I am assuming are using the 32 mm), I'd say that they're both using the a 40 or 50mm base while the Wraith-destroyers are using the next size up.
This is in comparison to the Plasmancer who used a 32mm base. So I have to wonder if the Plasmancer is the 'little brother' of the Crypteks or there is a second version of him on the way like you had with the different Overlord on the Command Barge to the fot-sloging one.

I would think all the crypteks will use the same base size as the plasmancer, given he's just one of the new crypteks. I'd assume the whipcoil destroyers will be the same base size as the indomitus walking destroyers.
but it's GW... who knows!

Big things I saw that I haven't seen in previous leaks:
Salamanders possibly nerfed a little, can only reroll one wound roll instead of one hit and one wound.
Captains and Lieutenants and limited to 1 and 2 per detachment. No more Captain Spam
Storm Shields are 4++ and +1 to Armour Save
Hunter Killers S10

And it looks like Auras are changing as well. The community page has a more complete breakdown but it seems like a lot of the reroll Auras etc are only going to be able to effect certain units and the character generating the aura can't inspire himself.

Between that and the storm shield changes we might as well throw out our lists now and start over. That's gonna be a massive damage nerf for every faction to lose those auras. Almost every competitive list for the last couple years has used buffer characters in that role. Heck many of us have been doing that since like 6th or 7th edition
