part of me wants to have three monoliths in a superheavy detachment running around the board chasing things like giant pacmans... I mean... not enough to spend the nearly $600 to buy three monoliths... but it would look pretty awesome I can bring that if you like.... I thought about bringing that. you give them rad-wreathed and isolationists. So that -1 toughness and their 24 Str 6 ap-2 D1 shots in close combat

So has anyone tested out the new Chronomancer? I'm just looking at it and/or the updated Plasmancer for upcoming lists.
The Chronomancer seems like a good option for helping to keep a given unit alive that little bit longer even if he can only do it for one unit. I honestly expect to see him pared with Skorpekhs for the invul+charge or protecting warrior blobs.

I'm liking the chronomancer plus destroyers combo and I plan to test that out for certain. He's built for something melee that is going to get punked by shooting on the way in and the Skorpekh destroyers seem like a prime target.
Also I'm thinking warscythe lychguard buffed by a chronomancer would be pretty insane - can be in bigger squads than the skorpekh's and are easier to reanimate given they're core and 2 wounds (so you can have a cryptek raise one a turn and then pretty decent reanimate chances with two wound models)... the 5++ means that they're almost as resilient as the sword and board lychguard and far more killy.

Plasmancer seems the weakest of the 4 pretty decidedly. I think chronomancer will be the best choice in almost all situations.
