Exploding scarabs strat.......why? Seriously why? Because that is absolutely hilarious, and it gives Necrons the ability to deal Mortal Wounds in a psuedo-smite way, which pretty much every army is getting. (Tau got it via Fail Safe Detonators) That strat is 10/10 would laugh every time.

Lame Dynastic Traits confirmed it seems. =/
Though -1 AP within half range coupled with that teleport ability dumping 20 warriors in rapid fire range could mess stuff up pretty solid.

Actually Sautekh is perfectly viable for my list as well since Mephrit is only super helpful when you're going up against an army that doesn't have widespread invul saves. For example if my memory serves Chaos daemons use invul a heck of a lot more than armor.
With Sautekh I can actually move the D.Ark around the map without that annoying 'hit on four' aspect. Also advancing and shooting with my troops is a lot less painful then for most since Overlord can buff a unit canceling the -1.
Though Nihilakh? Far to situational for my (and probably a lot of people's) taste. Meanwhile Novokh and Nephrekh are most definitely geared towards melee-specced armies.
Huh, power level went up by one and it's indicated that there are now four C'Tan powers to choose from even though it can still only use 3 per turn.

i don't think the stalker can benefit from the sautekh code, since it doesn't have the dynasty keyword. also, if you move the d.ark it loses its high powered shot. unless sautekh gets some good warlord trait/relic/strategem, i'm probably going to bring another dynastic code.
i'm still not convinced the tesseract vault is any good. despite having a 4++, i would have liked for its tesla spheres doing 2 damage instead of 1. yes, it's gotten more durable, but unless those c'tan powers bring up its firepower, it'll probably see as much play as it does now.

Well the new powers certainly seem interesting. Though they are basically saying 'shell out money for the Vault'.
Still that is a lot of Mortal wounds that a Vault can pump out, particularly against large units.

Mephrit Monolith could do a ton of damage dropping in. 12 shots at -3 AP...

super wargamer's leaked the tesseract vault datasheet looks like an extra power of the C'tan and a 4+ invul save (don't think it had that before did it? don't actually own the model) making it even more expensive though... not so sure I'd want something over 500 points (as it's just shy of that now) for some no AP tesla (which will be even wounding marines on 3's, so not really sure what the target of this model's shooting is that could warrant that price tag) EDIT: read the C'tan leak further down... looks like the vault is better at doing the C'tan powers as well.... hmmmmm Looks like Tomb Blades stayed the same PL, but getting a stock -1 to be hit is pretty damn nice sucks to be Imotekh... he should have joined a better dynasty...lol
