Actually Sautekh is perfectly viable for my list as well since Mephrit is only super helpful when you're going up against an army that doesn't have widespread invul saves. For example if my memory serves Chaos daemons use invul a heck of a lot more than armor. With Sautekh I can actually move the D.Ark around the map without that annoying 'hit on four' aspect. Also advancing and shooting with my troops is a lot less painful then for most since Overlord can buff a unit canceling the -1. that's not viable... that's really bad... you don't want to do that ever. If you're in a situation where you need to do either, you're probably in a LOT of trouble!

Considering the insanity of the Crusade test game I had last Saturday, if I haddn't moved the D.Ark onto the second objective+bringing it's secondary weapons into the fray I would have lost. So while yes, you don't want to move the D.Ark if you don't have to and the trait is primarily for infantry sometimes you do want to get vehicles across the board in a hurry (like say a Ghost Ark to provide that RP roll for a warrior blob) and still get fire support. And 1d3 S8 AP-2 d3 is still respectable, it's in the 'damage characters' category instead of 'I vaporize tanks'.

that still doesn't make it a good idea to forgo an actually USEFUL dynasty trait for your entire army for a small benefit for one model that rarely makes a difference.

-Shrugs- How good the various traits are for X lists etc are something that no doubt everyone will be testing when the codex drops.

do most vehicles have the traits? Im picturing a lot of tesla Destructors on fast moving things and trying to get a ton of hits at -1 AP. Night scyths and barges moving to 12-15" (not sure if 24 or 30" range) away and trying to melt. Plus things like night scythes with 2x7 immortals and a lord( my will will be done?) dropping out and again trying to alpha.

All vehicles, monsters/canoptek units and infantry except for some HQs, Triarch units and the non-vault C'Tan shards have the <dynasty> faction keyword.

cool so maybe something there? not super strong but could shake up lists. I do fine it odd they would have a shooting buff that encourages not moving. As is Necrons seem to stuggle with mobility and rewarding non mobility just makes it so much worse.

monolith is exactly the same Why GW? this makes ZERO sense! They Changed the BS of the Monilith to +3 for the first rank. This is new. It was +4. Hopefully the price goes down from 381 The Dimensional Corridor is super handy

I like that they fixed the C'tan Powers. They are now cast at the end of the Movement Phase. Kinda like a Necron Psychic Phase. Be interesting to see prices. Also looking to see what they have done to the Obelisk
