The terrifying armaments look like just that at a glance, and most of them are. A str16 short range shot that nulls any armor save, even with buffs, flat 10 dmg + mortal wounds vs vehicles/monsters, and rerolling vs vehicles/monsters, combined with a heavy flame cannon of some sort... Oof.
The Plasma Decimator seems fairly "meh" to me, while the small Volcano Cannon seems to be the true strength of that chassis.
I've seen a lot of people overstating the strength of the Character-killing Missile. In my opinion, it'll be a situational use item. It may ignore invuln saves, but it's still two CP for a shot that could miss. Tau with Shield Drones likely won't give a damn, and just pass off to Drones. Eldar can stack modifiers to hit, Dark Eldar can say "No stratagem for you."
I think the missile will hurt Necrons(maybe), Space Marines and Guardsmen the most. Tyranids don't have many characters that can hide to begin with.
I'm of the opinion that these Knights will get truly powerful/absurd (again, havent seen the rest of the codex yet...) With the Sacristian Forge Shrine. A new piece of Terrain/Fort for Knights that can, allegedly, max out the shots on a Variable-shot weapon(or weapons) for a Knight, repair wounds, and reload missiles. There's no details on how it does this, if it can perform all actions in a turn, how much it costs, or if these effects are even true. But this far, leaks and rumors for releases have been spot on.
